What's Coming in AirADB V2

#AirADB V2 #Roadmap #ProFeatures #AndroidDev

AirADB V1 solves one problem really well: wireless ADB setup in one click. V2 is about becoming the complete wireless Android debugging companion for Windows developers.

Here's exactly what's coming — and why each feature matters.

1. Multi-Device Support

Multi-Device Support PRO

The most requested feature by far. V1 handles one device at a time — the first authorized USB device it finds. V2 will show all connected devices and let you manage multiple wireless sessions simultaneously.

This matters for: developers testing on multiple devices, QA engineers, and anyone doing cross-device compatibility testing.

"I have 3 test devices and I have to run AirADB three times" — top Reddit comment on the launch post.

V2 will show a device list, let you select which ones to connect wirelessly, and manage all sessions from one dashboard.

2. APK Drag & Drop Installer

APK Drag & Drop Installer PRO

Right now, to install an APK wirelessly, you still need the terminal:

adb install app.apk

V2 will let you drag an APK file directly onto AirADB's window and install it to the selected device.

Small feature. Massive daily time saver.

3. Logcat Viewer

Logcat Viewer PRO

The second most requested feature. Logcat — Android's system log — is essential for debugging. Currently you need a terminal window open running adb logcat. V2 will embed a searchable, filterable Logcat viewer directly in AirADB.

  • Filter by tag, package, or log level
  • Search across log output
  • Color-coded by severity (Error, Warning, Info, Debug)
  • Export logs to file

4. System Tray Integration

System Tray Integration PRO

AirADB V2 will live in your system tray.

  • Minimize it, it disappears to the tray
  • Quick-access menu for connect/disconnect without opening the full window
  • Connection status indicator in the tray icon

Developers who use AirADB daily will appreciate not having it take up taskbar space.

5. macOS Support

macOS Support PRO

Flutter supports macOS Desktop. The core ADB logic is platform-agnostic. V2 will bring AirADB to macOS — same one-click experience, same clean UI.

Linux support is also planned but lower priority based on user feedback.

Free vs Pro

V1 is completely free and always will be. V2 introduces AirADB Pro — a one-time purchase that unlocks the advanced features:

Free

$0
  • Core one-click connect
  • Single device
  • Auto-reconnect
  • Open source

The core tool stays free. Power users get Pro. This funds continued development.

Timeline

V2 development starts after V1 reaches 1,000 downloads. Target release: 3-4 months from V1 launch.

Early access waitlist is open now — first 50 users get 50% off Pro.
